ISO10218-1: Industrial robots, and ISO10218-2: Industrial robot systems require that operating equipment including tablets be equipped with safety devices such as emergency stop pushbutton switches and enabling switches when used as teaching pendants. In addition, the 2022 revision of the standard also unifies cooperative robots with ISO 10218, making it mandatory to install safety functions on the tablet used for the teaching pendant.
