HT4P Safety Commander FAQ

What tablets can be attached to the Safety Commander?

List of tablets that have been tested on HT4-HP for installation and communication/charging.Please refer to the list there. For tablets not listed, please contact us.
Can be mounted on tablets with a diagonal length of 290 to 380 mm (reduced mounting or 270 mm and up) and a tablet thickness of 23 mm or less. If the thickness exceeds 10 mm, the height can be adjusted using the optional thickness adjustment kit.

Does the USB/LAN converter support Android and iPad?

Depends on the model. Please refer to the list of tablets we have tested in HT4P-HP for the tablets we have tested.

Can you install mechanical switches in-house?

The customer's mechanical switch cannot be installed. This will be handled by our factory.
We offer several types of mechanical switches as made-to-order products, so please choose one of them.
If you require other patterns, please contact us for special products.

Can a joystick be installed?

Our TS series joystick can be attached as a special product. (Padlocks must be purchased by the customer)

How many meters of cable can be accommodated?

Up to 20 meters. As accessories, 5m cables are available as standard products, and 10m, 15m, and 20m cables are also available on a made-to-order basis.
Customers can also prepare their own. Prepare a cable that matches the mating connector and specifications described in the catalog or instruction manual.

How is the LAN wiring? Also, does it have an RJ45 connector?

The accessory cable has a built-in LAN cable.
Two types of this cable are available: one with D-sub 37P ends and one with discrete wires. None of them have RJ45 connectors.
From the cable to the end of the cable, make the necessary modifications according to the specifications of the customer's equipment, or use a commercially available terminal block to RJ45 converter to connect to the equipment.

Can it be used outdoors?

Indoor specifications. Outdoor use is not covered by the warranty.

Are maintenance parts included in the main unit?

Included.

Is it heavy?

A shoulder strap is available as an accessory.
A shoulder strap is available as an accessory. It also has a safety feature, so that if the cable is pulled, the strap will come off if the load exceeds a certain level.

Can I also use it fixed to the wall?

Wall mount brackets are available as accessories. This fixture can be firmly fixed, and tablet operation can be performed while fixed to the wall if the operation does not involve an enabling SW.
